Take your power back

2.13

I'm sure there's a lot of us who reflect this time of year and makes plans to be better next year. Regardless of whatever struggle you're going through, it's time for you to take your power back!

Understanding your thoughts and emotions is the first step in healing, as well as acknowledging your situation.

Make a plan on how you want 2025 to go. What do you want to have happen. What will it take to get you there. Break that down into small steps. Find yourself a therapist.

Your first step should be giving yourself confidence. Stop believing what your abuser has told you. It's all a lie. Stop thinking that they must love you because they are still with you even with all your faults. That too is a lie. It's their game. Think of yourself in a hunger games situation. Your in a game you didn't agree to play and that you can't win.

If you've started back habits to help you deal with the stress, your giving away your power. You deserve to take your power back!

Use your anger you have inside to fuel your plan. Any time I start thinking about being angry at my dad or oddly enough feel sorry for him being by himself this time of year, I stop myself from thinking about him. He doesn't deserve me thinking about him.

Thinking about him gives him power over me which is exactly what he wants. I refuse to do that. He doesn't deserve that. I'm taking my power back!

You deserve to take your power back! You're not alone. There are people who care about you. You can do this!

If love to hear from you and what you're doing to take your power back. If you're stuck and not sure where or how to start, let me know. We can talk through it. I'll keep you anonymous.
